Working with us
How do I share my documents?
On WhatsApp or by email. We send you a checklist for your service, so you know exactly what is needed.
Will you file anything without my approval?
No. We share the figures with you first and file only after you approve them.
What happens after I request a callback?
We call you back during office hours, 10 am to 6 pm, to understand what you need and which documents to send.
Income tax
Do I need to file if my employer already deducted TDS?
Usually yes, if your income is above the basic exemption limit. Filing is also the only way to claim back extra TDS as a refund. We check your case before advising.
I missed the due date. Can I still file?
For income earned in 2025-26, you can file a belated return until 31 December 2026. Interest and a late fee may apply, and some losses cannot be carried forward.
What is the “tax year”?
Under the Income-tax Act, 2025, the year you earn income in is called the tax year. It replaces the old “previous year” and “assessment year”. The first tax year is 2026-27.
What happens if a TDS statement is filed late?
A fee of ₹200 a day applies until it is filed, up to the tax deducted. Separate interest applies if the tax itself was deposited late.
Who needs a tax audit?
A business with turnover above ₹1 crore (₹10 crore if cash receipts and payments are each 5% or less), or a professional with gross receipts above ₹50 lakh.
GST
Do I need GST registration?
In Gujarat, you need it once turnover crosses ₹40 lakh for goods or ₹20 lakh for services. Some businesses, such as most online sellers, need it whatever their turnover.
What is the QRMP scheme?
Businesses with turnover up to ₹5 crore can file GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B every quarter while paying tax every month. That means fewer returns, but payments still follow a monthly cycle.
Why is my input tax credit lower than my purchase bills?
Credit is generally limited to what your suppliers have reported, which shows in GSTR-2B. We match your bills against GSTR-2B every month and tell you which suppliers have not filed.
Do I need GST to sell on Amazon or Flipkart?
For most sellers, yes. Registration is compulsory for marketplace sales, unless you fall under the exemptions for small service providers or for small goods sellers who sell only within one state.
What is the TCS taken from my marketplace payout?
The marketplace collects 0.5% of your net taxable sales as TCS and deposits it with the government. It shows on the GST portal, and once you accept it you can use it towards your GST.
Do I need a new LUT every year?
Yes. It is filed for a financial year, so file it before your first export of each new year.
Registrations
Does an Import Export Code expire?
It does not expire, but it must be updated every April to June. If you miss the update, it is deactivated until you complete it.
Is there a fee for Udyam registration?
The official portal does not charge a fee. Be careful with look-alike websites that ask for payment.
Accounting and audit
Can you bring old books up to date?
Yes. We start from your last closed year, bring the books up to date, and then keep them every month.
When should we start preparing for a tax audit?
As soon as the financial year closes. Clean books and reconciliations make the audit faster and leave time to fix issues before the due date.
