Questions people ask
When should we start preparing?
As soon as the financial year closes. Clean books and reconciliations make the audit faster and leave time to fix issues before the due date.
What if the audit report is late?
A late or missed audit report attracts a fee, and under the Income-tax Act, 2025 that fee is substantial. Starting early is the best protection.
Do professionals need a tax audit?
Yes, if gross receipts are above ₹50 lakh in the year.
